Overview:
The Studio Manager oversees the daily operations of the studio, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning of activities. This role requires a proactive, highly organized individual capable of managing both people and logistics in a creative, fast-paced environment. The Studio Manager will support the team in delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations Management :
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring it is well-maintained and fully operational.
Organize and schedule studio time, managing calendars for various projects.
Oversee studio equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
Ensure that the studio space is clean, safe, and welcoming.
Team Management :
Supervise studio staff (including assistants, technicians, and other team members), ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff based on project needs.
Foster a collaborative and productive environment for all team members.
Assist with onboarding new employees and freelancers.
Client and Project Coordination :
Act as the main point of contact between clients and the studio.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure successful project outcomes.
Monitor the progress of ongoing projects to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Prepare and manage project budgets, estimating costs and overseeing invoicing.
Scheduling and Resource Management :
Maintain an organized studio calendar, booking equipment, space, and resources.
Coordinate with project managers or department heads to ensure project requirements are met.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure optimal resource allocation.
Health, Safety, and Compliance :
Ensure all health, safety, and legal regulations are met within the studio.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
Conduct regular audits of studio practices and equipment.
Administrative Duties :
Handle studio-related administrative tasks including filing, documentation, and correspondence.
Prepare reports on studio activities, performance, and project outcomes.
Manage studio budgets and assist with financial tracking.
Marketing and Public Relations (if applicable) :
Assist with promoting the studio and its services, including managing social media accounts or studio events.
Support business development initiatives and maintain positive client relationships.
