SS Engineering Manager - Civil

Educational Qualification:

BE / B. Tech - Civil / Geo-Tech , M Tech - Will be an additional advantage.

Experiences:

1-9 years experience

Detail knowhow for various standards, Guidelines and practices for Civil engineering requirement for Building and Substation.
Must be well versed with the Civil and Structural Engineering activities of the Substations (AIS GIS).
Must be well versed with the design software (Staad Pro).
Must be well versed with AutoCAD software.
Shall be able to independently design detail the below mentioned civil and structural works.
- Structure of Tower and Equipment Support
- Foundation of Tower and Equipment
- Transformer Reactor Foundation
- Buildings (PEB / RCC / Modular)
- Cable Trench
- Drains
- Roads
- Boundary Wall
- Fencing
- Sump Pits
- Retaining Wall
- Pile Foundation
- Water Tanks (Overhead and Underground)
- Misc. civil works
Must be able to provide the Civil and Structure BOQ based on the Layout / SLD / RFQ.
Must be able to understand the Electrical Layout and SLD.
Must have basic understanding about the electrical equipment.
Preparation, review, and approval of engineering documents as per relevant codes / standards / technical specification for civil and structure for Transmission substations.
Execute the design as per the consideration during tender stage to ensure the quantities are not increased with respect to tender quantity.
Provide civil and structure technical specification for substation.
Timely completion of civil and structure engineering activities for substations.
Preparing Civil and Structure preliminary design and BOQ for tendering purpose with innovative approach of optimizations for successful bidding.
Evaluation of Techno-Commercial offers received from vendors, BOQ Analysis, Preparation of Basis of Decision techno commercial bid.
Frequent visit to site to sort out the problems related to engineering.
Create, maintain, track, and update the engineering documents as per schedule.

Provide guidance to team and coaching to the team to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.
Ensure training and continuous learning of team
Handling interpersonal conflicts promotes collaboration and respect among the team.
