Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the company's accounting and financial operations in accordance with industry regulations.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Provide expert guidance on cost control measures and ensure operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial reports and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
• Guide and mentor junior finance team members and ensure their professional development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (C.A.) with 8-10 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong expertise in audit processes, financial reporting, and taxation.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Ability to handle complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience in managing audits and working with external audit firms.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
