Market Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Market Data Administration maintains the control aspects of market data, so that the services delivered to both applications and end-users are controlled and auditable by regulators and exchanges. The roles in this area also ensure that the connections and use of the data meets the compliance and legal requirements through both technical and design controls, and that the services are charged and allocated correctly by utilizing the various sources of billing, invoicing and contractual information.

• Coordinate with vendors like Refinitiv and Bloomberg for data services.
• Maintain and update Market Data Management (MDM) systems.
• Ensure compliance with Data Access Declaration (DAD) and Dacs policies.
• Strong Knowledge in MDM Tool and Inventory
• Invoice reconciliation with good accounting knowledge
• Data Access Declaration (DAD) preparation and processing of DAD. Check invoices
  considering DAD
• Unused Reports
• User maintenance
• Maintenance of permission sets
• Site Subscription, adding and removing products, exchanges, specialist data, vendor
  services.
• Migration to new products
• Check of Level 1 / Level 2 exchanges
• Map Collect
• Application Usage collection
• Permission and item requirement support
• Provide reports from DACS: Permission reports, usage reports, Data Declaration Report, Admin Report
• Provide reports for Audits.
• Track usage of application
• Handing RPM for all the vendors
• Working on Schedule Activity upload (BBG, DACS and Exchange Vendor Declaration)
• Need sound knowledge on BBG and Refinitiv Portal
• Deep understanding of Financial Markets and Financial Products

Proficient in MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-5 years of experience in Market Data Services.
• Proficient in using Refinitiv and Bloomberg.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandatory - Comfortable in working rotational shift duties
• Experience with Data Access Declaration (DAD) and Dacs.
• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments.

Desirable: MBA in finance / Executive MBA / Post-Graduate in Finance
