Job Description

Job Title: .Net Developer with Azure Experience, Web API, SQL Server

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled .Net Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-quality, and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As a .Net Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external-facing web applications. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to build enterprise systems that improve business productivity and support operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using .NET programming languages (C#, ASP.NET).

Build and maintain Web API services.

Integrate with Azure cloud services and implement Azure best practices.

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Collaborate with a team to understand requirements, design comprehensive solutions, and ensure timely delivery of features.

Work with SQL Server databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing performance.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team and personal learning.

Keep up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding .NET applications.

Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Mandatory Skills:

Proficient in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 5/6 with a good knowledge of their ecosystems.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals.

Experience with Web API development and RESTful web services.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.

Proficient in SQL Server and database design.

Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).

Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Optional Skills:

Experience with front-end development using React.js is a plus.

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

Experience with other cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.

Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
