Job Description
- 9-12 years of experience is required.
- Minimum 4-8 years of IT hands-on application development experience is required.
- Minimum 4 years of IT hands-on development experience with Guidewire BillingCenter 8.0 or higher is essential.
- Must have experience with Configuration and Integration experience with Guidewire BillingCenter 8.0 or higher
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL (SQL server/Oracle/DB2)/No SQL-related technologies are necessary.
- Minimum 2 years of experience integrating RESTful /SOAP Web services is required.
Responsibilities
- Must design, develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations between Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and external systems (legacy applications, third-party services, etc.) using APIs, web services, and message queues.
- Must analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Guidewire s integration capabilities (e.g., ITypes, Business Services, Datamaps).
- Should write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and Guidewire development standards.
- Must conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing with QA and other teams.
- Should troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
- Must stay up to date on the latest Guidewire integration features and functionalities.
- Should estimate integration development effort and provide accurate timelines.
- Must document technical design and implementation decisions.
- Should contribute to the development and maintenance of integration automation tools and scripts.
- Must stay informed about industry trends and best practices in application integration.
- Should work effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to understand requirements and design optimal integration solutions.
- Must participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Should effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must proactively identify and mitigate integration risks.

Essential skills
- Knowledge of working with monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design best practices.

- Good knowledge of estimating, planning and tracking development tasks.
- Experience with debugging production issues and resolving them.
- Experience with identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving them.
- In depth hands-on experience with continuous integration practices, processes and tools (Jenkins, JUnit, GitLab).
- Proficient in writing configurable, maintainable and testable code in a highly collaborative environment.
- Property Casualty domain knowledge is a plus.

Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, or an equivalent field is required.
