Service Delivery Manager - Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee and optimize Microsoft cloud infrastructure and end-user computing services. The role ensures high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in Microsoft-based cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Delivery Management

• Lead delivery of Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365, end-user computing).
• Develop and maintain SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
• Implement ITIL-based service management processes.
• Conduct service reviews with stakeholders and manage incident escalations.

2. Team Leadership

• Mentor technical teams for service delivery excellence.
• Coordinate with cloud architects, engineers, and support staff.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Lead problem management and root cause analysis.

3. Infrastructure Management

• Design and oversee Azure infrastructure (virtual networks, storage, compute).
• Manage hybrid cloud environments and disaster recovery solutions.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services.

4. End-User Computing Management

• Oversee Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) using Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.
• Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device security and compliance.
• Implement application virtualization and endpoint security solutions.
• Drive automation for end-user provisioning and management.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).

5. Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement service improvement opportunities.
• Drive automation and optimization initiatives.
• Maintain service documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Lead change management and service transitions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT service delivery experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator).

Preferred:

• ITIL v4 Foundation certification (mandatory).
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and automation tools.
• Project management certification (PMP/Prince2).
• Experience with service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira).

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Azure: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Microsoft 365 Administration: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online.
• VDI: Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365.
• Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory.
• Cloud Security: Compliance, network security groups, Azure Security Center.
• Service Monitoring: Reporting tools, performance analytics.
