Job Description
- Understand key consumer and market insights and translating them into product ideas.
- Drive new ice cream innovations , project execution, process development, cost saving programs.
- Plan& execute experiments based on the project brief with rigor, analyzing the information & data and draw scientific conclusions
- Transfer technology from lab to plant scale-up trials .
- Continuously look for / experiment with new ingredients / recipes / technologies to develop products and processes that offer tangible, new benefits to the consumer and business.
- Understand application of principles of Food/Dairy science & technology , chemistry, engineering and microbiology at lab, pilot and factory scale to develop novel ice cream products and processes.
- Work in the laboratory to carry out on the benchexperiments and in pilot plant to develop novel ice cream products per brief within the cost and regulatory framework Process development
- Conduct studies to establish shelf-life, melt properties and other characteristics of new products.
- Effective liaison with other R&D functions, factory /3Ps/Supply chain, Marketing, other functions for successful completion projects.
