Role & responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive sales strategies in alignment with the company's overall objectives and market dynamics. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the cattle feed market.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and teamwork.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, competitive insights, and customer needs. Utilize findings to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by effectively managing sales pipelines, forecasting sales projections, and implementing pricing strategies. Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Channel Management: Develop and maintain effective distribution channels, including direct sales, third-party distributors, and retail partnerships. Evaluate channel performance and optimize distribution networks for maximum efficiency and profitability.
Budgeting and Planning: Prepare and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to support sales activities and initiatives. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sales operations. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering results.
Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of cattle nutrition, feed formulation, and livestock farming practices is a plus.
