Finance Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
• Manage and process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable efficiently.
• Update and maintain internal systems with real-time financial data for decision-making.
• Generate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate tracking of deposits and payments.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations.
• Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, providing actionable insights for cost optimization.
• Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with business goals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven work experience of 4-8 years in finance or accounting, preferably with a startup or tech company.
• Strong background in audit/chartered accountancy, with CPA/CA certification preferred.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion.
• MBA in Finance or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Previous experience working in multinational environments is a plus.
