Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:
   
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Accounts Management:
   
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of financial performance.
• Support financial forecasting and long-term financial planning.
4. Tax Compliance and Reporting:
   
• Prepare tax filings (sales tax, income tax, and other regulatory filings).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
5. Audit Support:
   
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure accuracy of financial data.
6. Financial Analysis:
   
• Conduct regular financial analysis, providing insights into the financial health of the company.
• Identify discrepancies or inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
7. Other Duties as Assigned:
   
• Assist with various ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required.
