Analyst/ Specialist/ Senior Specialist - Charge Posting (Vadodara)

Job function

• Enter / Validate Charges accurately to collect claims money at first instance.
• Create/validate patients demographics in PMS. Demographics includes Patients Name, DOB, Address, Phone numbers, Insurance details etc
• Enter/validate ICD and CPTs in PMS within 24 hours of turnaround time of 24 hours of receipt of documents.
• Create tasks to client/ corresponding departments as and when required.
• Clear all edits which pops up while scrubbing charges.
• Follow all client specific updates and billing guidelines published in-order to send clean claim.
• Work on the Charge Posting and exception reports on daily basis for their own work before end of the day.
• Meet set production target everyday set by client/ application.
• Clean all errors before claims team bills those claims out to Insurance companies with set quality benchmark i.e. 98.5%.
• Work on X team assignments as and when required.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and keep Patients PHI intact
• Perform additional projects and job duties as assigned
