Infra Application Management-BigFix Administrator

Experience - 5+ Years

Job Purpose :

• Primarily responsibility of ensuring Application Problem Management, Application Performance Management, Application Obsolescence Management, Audit Compliance and Vendor management for Infra Applications
• Manage L1, L2 projects and deliveries

Role & responsibilities :

1. Project Management and Delivery

• Planning / Solution designing on handling Capacity growth
• Ensure project implementation within approved budgets
• Manage & collaborate for implementation of Infrastructure & Software components
• Environment Setup preparation basis the sizing / components required

• Testing Technology components and requirements viz. High Availability, Scalability, Automation and Monitoring
• Manage and report all high impact, critical problems/risks
• Updates to stakeholders on project status

1. Problem Management

• Ensure logged problems are addressed and resolved at utmost priority.
• Understand the root cause of the issue and provide solution based on capacity, design or process changes.

1. Application Performance and Capacity Management

• Setup and review monitoring reports for identifying potential bottlenecks on performance and availability
• Provide solution based on capacity, design or process changes
• Ensure periodic capacity reviews for applications and report on capacity augmentation requirements

1. Obsolescence Management

• Review application obsolescence wrt supported OEM versions for application, OS, DB and middleware components
• Plan and implement upgrades for obsolete components
• Ensure stakeholder updates about the upgrades
• Ensure appropriate sign-offs before production movements
• Ensure updates to relevant governance systems post upgrades

1. Audit and Compliance -

• Ensure Change and Release management procedure is followed and update to relevant IT-Governance systems post change if required
• Ensure DR drills for applications as per ISG policy
• Accountability for audit compliance related to applications managed

• Application Security management
