Role & responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose and find ways to resolve the issue on time
  
• Analyse various metrics and logs to understand the reason for system failure or non-performance
  
• Use debugging and diagnostic tools to find solutions to improve software performance
  
• Collaborate with other group members to address the problem
  
• Timely update to customers & senior management on the issue status
  
• Timely raising & status update of incident tickets, service tickets & Issues
  
• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to minimum issues.
  
• Have to monitor the system very closely as its 14*7 job defined within a team to work in shifts
  
• In case if some issue occurs after working hours then He/She should be available to resolve the issue on priority & on urgent basis
  
• Issues to be classified based on priorities i.e. P1, P2 and P3 and to be worked upon for closure on timely basis
  
• Issue tracker need to be created and maintained for all cases and should be monitored closely. For recurring issue and data patches if there is a need to change the process it should be taken up with busienss /BPRG for resloution
  
• Implement & Monitor applications and infrastructure alerts, and react quickly in case of any alerts
  
• Recommending and implementing solutions to mitigate repeat product issues
  
• Strive for continuous improvement of incident management process and integration with other IT operations management processes.
  
• Conduct trend analyses and action plans for improving service timeliness and reducing costs
  
• Develop, manage, measure and report on key service-level metrics.
  
• Timely publish of MIS to seniors
  
• Perform collaborative sessions and develop action plans to address the knowledge transfer from the application development team for new releases.
  
• Contribute to problem solving, change & release management, & knowledge transfer.
  
• Ensure BCP/DR activities are planned and conducted on timely basis
  
• Manage & timely closure of audit queries

• Web & Application Stack: Weblogic, Websphere, Apache, MS IIS, NgiNX, Tomcat, JBoss
  
• Application Softwares: java, .Net, PhP, LaMDA, Redis, Python
  
• Database: Oracle, MySql, MS Sql, mongoDB, Redis, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora, ProgressSQL
  
• Data Streaming: Oracle Golden Gate, Kafka
  
• Automation Stack: JS7, DevOps
