About Company: A leading company specialized in trading of petroleum and petrochemical products across Middle East.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.E. in Chemical or Petroleum Technology or Mechanical or Geology.
- Job experience has to be in between 12 to 15 Years only, out of which OFC Sales has to be minimum 7 Years.
- Experience in commercial or Oil Field Chemical Sales role with good customer interface, relationship building, and a track record of delivering sales growth.
- Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing with Oil Drilling companies.
- Exposure to Wells Engineering / Drilling Field Operations/ Workover Techniques and Upstream Facilities Engineering Activities.
- This role requires a deep understanding of drilling techniques, Chemicals used, equipment, and safety protocols & complete drilling programs.
Job Summary:
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Sr Sales Engineer to lead our sales vertical in the Oil Filed Chemicals sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in OFC sales and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OFC sales for Oil filed drilling solutions. The selected candidate will build long-term customer relationships, manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues and identify and develop sales opportunities.
Products knowledge, is must: Drilling Chemicals, Production Chemicals, Stimulation / Cementing Chemicals
Preferences:
- Candidates with job experience in Middle East companies having operations in Middle East Countries are highly preferable.
- Strong market knowledge and relationships with Oil Filed Commercial teams associated with, oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, within GCC region, is highly preferable.
- A candidate having experience in OFC product development to cash stage will have more preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans that are aligned with business plan to deliver market growth & revenue target in trading of Oil Filed Chemicals
- Sales & Marketing of companies products to Oil Drilling Companies in UAE & other GCC countries.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales vertical to optimize performance and foster a high-performance culture.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work with the Vertical leads / Other BUs to drive business for integrated sales focus in the region
- Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges.
- Manage the sales budget, including setting spending limits and monitoring return on investment (ROI)
- Identify and qualify project opportunities and capture these in Salesforce.
- Use and apply PriceFX for all product quotations and making sure all customers have a pricing agreement or fit in a certain pricing matrix.
- Maintain existing client relationships by promoting new products, services and special applications.
- Report competitor activities, review regional threats, consider any hurdles to success and propose an action plan to overcome.
- Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Promote new innovative solutions to both existing and new clients including end users, consultants and other stakeholders via frequent direct customer visits.
- Look for new customer, opportunitity untapped by the company.
- Achieve the order target month on month and collect the overdue in time.
- Develop new client to address the untapped distribution business in Cluster.
- Continuously gain knowledge on new applications to present companies product advantages better.
- Co-ordinate with service team for warranty and after sales support as needed.
- Co-rordinate with the operations team to ensure commitment on the delivery.
- Prepare monthly MIS & update on business done product line wise and market wise to sr management & stakeholders.

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and a team player with a multicultural environment.

- Experience of using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Salesforce.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, consultative approach to working with marketing and client service professionals at all levels
- Highly detail oriented with superb organizational skills
- Should be excellent in communication (internally & externally)
