ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES (Job Experience): Sr.Purchase Engineer.

1. Float RFP amongst approved vendors for each project / Purchase requisition ü Negotiate with vendors on cost, lead-time and quality to obtain the maximum benefit to company.
2. Preparation of PO according to the company policy.
3. Manage Vendors to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
4. Support the purchasing department throughout the vendor qualification process ü Prepare reports for management and ensure project documents are complete.
5. Generating service request for contracts, Purchase requisitions and Purchase orders.
6. Perform procurement activities that include maintaining inventory levels / minimum requirement.
7. Assist buyer in issuing PO, Amendments and Cancellations.
8. Contact suppliers in order to schedule, expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
9. Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
10. Suppliers meeting, request for quotations and analyzing.
11. Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
12. Developing local vendors, Involvement in purchase of materials and supply chain management.
13. Working with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders ü Tracking of POs on supplier commit dates and reporting to management on any back orders ü Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones ü Ability to answer supplier questions and supporting with additional documents if needed ü Ability to recommend management on cost reductions by switching supplier/location of supply.
14. Responsible for scarp sell process and prepare comparative statement.
15. Responsible for Achieve KPI target in cost saving procedure.
16. Responsible to handle import the material.
17. Responsable procure local consumables, maintenance Consumables & Mechanical, Electrical items.
18. Coordination with Accounts Dept to releases the payment to vendors as per the payment terms.
19. Follow-up with suppliers to get Account statement ledger for account reconciliations.
20. Visit various suppliers place to understand and assess the supplier capabilities to manufacture.
21. Prepare comparative statements for price analyzing and improve 3Q rule.
22. Identifying high risk suppliers/part lists and develop action plan to mitigate risk.
