Manager/Sr. Manager- Sustainability

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the ESG requirements for the organisation and collect ESG related data across all sources.
• Implement ESG related initiatives at organisation level including energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, and resource use reduction.
• Monitor and report on ESG related data to central data management system and track the ESG goals of the organisation.
• Provide support for GHG inventorisation, BRSR/GRI/IR reporting and other ESG related assurance.
• Conduct regular ESG audits, due-diligence and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations, product development, and supply chain management.
• Provide training and education to employees on ESG topics, including best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies.
• The job requires travel across to various facilities of Havells in India regularly.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong solution development experience, with a knack for detail-oriented asset development skills
• Deep understanding of climate change policies, global take on ESG, regional diverse opinion, climate risk by industry sectors and other important aspects of ESG
• Strong know-how of digital technologies, ability to envisage and develop ESG use cases with technology application
• Strong, professional communication skills, with the ability to skillfully articulate key messages to his / her audience
• Good in presentation and excel.
• Good analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Capability and willingness to support diverse analytical engagements. Should be able to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
• Ability to work with diverse and multiple teams, should have excellent stakeholder management skills
• A strong team player, proven team leadership potential
• Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly
