Key Responsibilities:
1.Design, Fabrication, and Erection:
oComprehensive knowledge of design, fabrication, and erection processes of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural buildings.
oEnsure adherence to technical specifications and standards during all stages of project execution.
2.Technical Expertise:
oProficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication and erection drawings, as well as Bill of Materials (BOM).
oAbility to calculate and verify quantities from drawings and BOMs.
oStrong understanding of IS Codes, steel grades, and steel testing criteria.
3.Inspection and Quality Assurance:
oCoordinate with Third-Party Inspectors (TPI) and ensure successful completion of TPI inspections.
oImplement and maintain quality standards for structural works in compliance with project requirements and specifications.
4.Coordination and Collaboration:
oAct as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the head office to address and resolve technical and operational issues.
oEnsure seamless coordination among stakeholders for project execution and timely completion.
5.Project Management and Reporting:
oPrepare detailed reports, schedules, and progress updates using MS Office tools.
oDevelop and monitor work schedules, ensuring timely completion of design, fabrication, and erection activities.
6.Software Skills:
oProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
oStrong knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing, drafting, and modifying drawings.
7.Communication Skills:
oMaintain effective written and verbal communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams through email, meetings, and reports.
8.Problem-Solving and Compliance:
oIdentify and resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
oEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on-site and in the design phase.
Key Skills:
Extensive knowledge of structural design, PEB systems, and steel structures.
Strong analytical skills for reading drawings, BOMs, and calculating quantities.
Understanding of IS Codes and steel testing procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and email communication.
Excellent coordination and leadership abilities to handle multiple stakeholders.
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualities:
A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage teams and resources.
Work Location:
Project sites with regular interaction with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the head office.
