Job Description
- Should be able to independently handle structures of a project at a time and guide juniors supporting him
- Should be able to finalize span arrangement and type of structures
- Site visits for bridge inventory and condition survey, inspection during construction
- Should be able to provide alternate designs for options to the contractor Shall be responsible for the co-ordination with the concerned authorities for approval of the design and drawings
- Should be able to design segmental / continuous structures with open, well and pile foundations
- Should have working knowledge of hydraulics and geotech
- Proficient with provisions of IRC:112 and IRC:SP:114 besides other IRC bridge codes
