Lead Discipline Engineer - Civil

Key Responsibilities:
1.Work Execution:
oEnsure effective execution of civil works in compliance with construction drawings, purchase order (PO) item descriptions, and tender technical specifications.
oSupervise on-site activities and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

2.Technical Knowledge:
oSound understanding of IS Codes and their application in civil construction.
oInterpret and implement technical specifications as per project requirements.

3.Supervision and Management:
oSupervise and guide site workforces, including manpower and machinery deployment, based on the quantum of work.
oEnsure efficient utilization of resources to maintain productivity and cost-effectiveness.

4.Documentation and Reporting:
oPrepare and update work schedules using MS Excel.
oProficiency in drafting reports, project updates, and maintaining proper documentation.

5.Communication and Coordination:
oEffective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the head office to address and resolve issues promptly.
oRegular email communication to share updates, escalate concerns, and ensure seamless coordination.

6.Software Skills:
oProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
oCompetency in AutoCAD for reviewing and drafting drawings.

7.Problem Solving and Compliance:
oIdentify and resolve issues during project execution to ensure smooth progress.
oEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards on-site.

Strong understanding of construction processes and technical specifications.
Expertise in manpower and machinery planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and email correspondence.
Ability to create and manage schedules effectively.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Project sites with periodic interaction with the head office and other stakeholders.
