Lead Discipline Engineer - Civil

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work Execution:
Ensure effective execution of civil works in compliance with construction drawings, purchase order (PO) item descriptions, and tender technical specifications.
Supervise on-site activities and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

2. Technical Knowledge:
Sound understanding of IS Codes and their application in civil construction.
Interpret and implement technical specifications as per project requirements.

3. Supervision and Management:
Supervise and guide site workforces, including manpower and machinery deployment, based on the quantum of work.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maintain productivity and cost-effectiveness.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and update work schedules using MS Excel.
Proficiency in drafting reports, project updates, and maintaining proper documentation.

5. Communication and Coordination:
Effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the head office to address and resolve issues promptly.
Regular email communication to share updates, escalate concerns, and ensure seamless coordination.

6. Software Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Competency in AutoCAD for reviewing and drafting drawings.

7. Problem Solving and Compliance:
Identify and resolve issues during project execution to ensure smooth progress.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards on-site.

Expertise in manpower and machinery planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and email correspondence.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Work Location:
Project sites with periodic interaction with the head office and other stakeholders.
