Role & responsibilities

Strong hands on experience into Installation , Implement and maintain Routers and Switches devices.

Job Description -

Install, Implement & Maintain CORE devices Alcatel/Nokia SR Series Router, Juniper Routers, FortiGate FW, ASR 1000/1000x & Mikrotik.
Install Implement & Maintain CORE switches Huawei, Juniper, Zyxel, ZTE, Optilink, and Digisol & Cisco.
Responsible for the setup of an accurate monitoring of Networking Equipment, monitoring of Critical Interface & overall health of the network.
AAA Call flow understanding & Radius client configuration.
Manage revision controls and changes on all core-networking devices.
Capability to isolate and resolve network issue & ISP link load balancing.
Assures the NOC meets the Service Level Agreement and the operation of the NOC infrastructure
Keep NOC infrastructure, CORE and Distribution NW device documentation up to date.
Configuration & Capacity Planning for CORE device hardware.
Configuration of Qos for various Routes, Latency related issues.
RCA of escalated calls and its documentation.
Health Check and Backup of all Core Nodes.
Implement new and Innovative Solution to optimize Network
Vendor Solution Evaluation and applicability check for the Project.
Closely monitor Project Execution and GAP in execution, Report Delay and Expedite Execution
Sound knowledge of OSI layer, TCP/IP stack, Switching- VLAN, STP, MSTP, VTP, Ether-Channel, BGP, VPLS, VRF/VPRN, OSPF, MPLS, LDP etc. is required. Proven knowledge in networking, DNS, DHCP, wired devices and wireless network connectivity.
Experience with Alcatel/Nokia 2e, 3e & SR12 wired environments and technologies.
Experience with managing and fine-tuning networking QOS settings.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call duty rotation, willing to work in shifts. Experience with scripting and automation processes will be an add-on.

Preferred candidate profile

Maintain wireless network. Operating firewalls. (Cisco Firepower and Cisco ASA) Optimize network performance. Work closely with Network team 3rd level support.
