Responsibilities :

- Design and develop audio applications and frameworks on Linux platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for audio software.

- Optimize audio processing performance and ensure low-latency audio playback and recording.

- Implement and maintain audio drivers and support various audio hardware.

- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in Linux environments.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in audio technologies and Linux kernel developments.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of experience in audio software development on Linux platforms.

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages, with a focus on audio processing.

- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating system architecture and audio subsystems like ALSA, PulseAudio, or JACK.

- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) concepts and techniques.

- Familiarity with audio codecs and file formats (WAV, MP3, AAC, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and build systems (CMake, Makefile).

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
