Manager Indirect Purchase (Raw material Procurement)

Position: Manager/Sr. Manager Indirect & Raw material Procurement

Location: Gurgaon

Job Role:

The Manager/Sr. Manager Indirect Purchase will lead the sourcing and procurement of Indirect Materials, Services, Capex & Raw material. This role involves vendor development, supplier evaluation, market analysis, and technical negotiations to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing/Purchasing:

1. Lead Indirect procurement, Capex and Service procurement based on the technical requirements as specified by the user.

2. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, Service providers and gain insights into market conditions.

3. Lead Direct Raw material procurement for factory.

4. Raw material market analysis, Cost analysis and fix raw material index formulae for transparency in cost adjustment.

5. Identify & Develop new vendor/ suppliers/ service providers, negotiate and contract as per the requirement who would provide sustainable support for critical spends. and driving cost saving projects for Indirect Spends.

6. Ensuring adherence to Groupe SEB commercial policy, quality, and finance / audit policies.

7. Monthly reporting to management & Monthly Spend Analysis and reporting.

8. Coordinate & Manage relationship with all key stake holders viz Operations, Sales & Marketing team, other user functions, plant/maintenance managers, Category team members to support timely & efficient purchasing of products/services, maintaining minimum TAT.

9. New Vendor development, Supplier Base Management. Coordination with key stake holders, Price negotiation, finalizing commercials & contracts, Driving Cost Saving projects, Market Intelligence & updates.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and leading suppliers.

11. Oversee tool development and vendor partnerships for capital expenditures.

12. Facilitate technical discussions, cost negotiations, and finalization related to plastic tooling.

Education & Work Experience:

- MBA in Operations, preferably with an engineering background, and at least 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the purchasing/sourcing department of a mid-sized consumer durables company.

- Proven ability to drive business growth, offering clear strategic direction in alignment with organizational goals.
