GCP Devops Engineer

Programming languages: Python

Public Cloud: Google Cloud

Frameworks: K8s, Terraform

Experience: Extensive experience in GCP

Perform deployment, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of high availability enterprise solutions that implement industry standards using GCP.

Perform proactive system administration, monitoring, technical efficiency tuning, up-time, alert notifications, and automation tasks.

Building and setting up new development tools to improve automation and code deployment, with a focus on GCP operations and application deployment/configuration.

Ownership in the diagnosis and issue resolution process, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation where necessary.

Troubleshooting of infrastructure/software application solutions using cloud built-in services.

Proactively identify and raise technical risks.

Produce/update documentation on system processes to meet compliance/auditing regulations.

Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

Comply with all IT and Information Security policies and procedures; help respond to audit requests

Nice to have requirements to the candidate:

Experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures using Spring Cloud or similar tools.

Experience with API Gateway solutions.

Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Knowledge of security best practices in web development, such as OWASP top 10, JWT authentication, and securing APIs.
