Grid Dynamics - Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot (6-9 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with expertise in AWS and Microservices to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java (Java 8-11), a deep understanding of AWS services, and hands-on experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures with RESTful APIs.

The role requires experience in workflow orchestration using tools like AWS Step Functions or Netflix Conductor, and a strong proficiency in database management (both relational and non-relational). Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Java 8-11 and Spring Boot to power scalable applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure smooth integration with front-end systems and external services.

• Leverage your AWS expertise (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, IAM, etc.) to architect and deploy scalable and reliable solutions.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

• Design and implement microservices solutions that are modular, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
• Ensure seamless communication and data exchange between microservices via REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Netflix Conductor, AWS Step Functions, or other similar frameworks to design and manage complex workflows.
• Design and implement workflows to improve system efficiency and automate tasks.

• Work with both relational and non-relational databases to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Design database schemas and ensure proper indexing, query optimization, and data consistency.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze system performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Propose scalable solutions and improve existing workflows to ensure system robustness.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
