GCP DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and applications using GCP Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and applications using GCP Cloud.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, and GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications.
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes to ensure efficient and scalable deployment of applications.
• Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, PagerDuty, and Loggly to ensure real-time visibility and alerting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to manage and provision cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation using Notion to ensure clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
• Strong understanding of GCP Cloud services, including Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, PagerDuty, and Loggly.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
