Job Title: Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable

Job Location: Gurugram-Sector 34

Job Responsibilities:

• Work the accounts payable department and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor and analyze accounts payable processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and finance, to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed.
• Experienced in running month-end closing.

Required:

• A bachelor s degree in finance and accounting major is mandatory.
• A Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)/Chartered accountant is preferred
• 5-7 Years of experience in Accounts Payable role and must have worked with global vendors.
• You should be familiar with GL Accounting and GL Codes.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and SAP or any other similar tools.
