IPYP Mathematics Teacher

Greenwood High is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IPYP Mathematics Teacher to join our Primary Years Program (PYP) team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching mathematics to primary-aged students, with a passion for fostering a love of numbers, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

You will help create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can develop essential math skills through inquiry-based learning and hands-on activities.

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering innovative math lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a classroom culture that encourages exploration and collaboration.

The successful candidate will be proactive, creative, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the PYP or inquiry-based education.
• Strong understanding of IPYP Mathematics and the ability to make math accessible and fun for young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for nurturing curiosity and inspiring a love of mathematics.
