IPYP English Teacher

Greenwood High is seeking an inspiring and dedicated IPYP English Teacher to join our Primary Years Program (PYP) team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English to primary-aged students, with a focus on fostering strong literacy skills, creativity, and a love for language.

As an IPYP English Teacher, you will engage students in dynamic lessons that encourage reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while supporting their language development through inquiry-based and interactive learning approaches.

Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging English lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes effective communication and critical thinking.

The successful candidate will be collaborative, creative, and dedicated to student growth and academic excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the PYP or inquiry-based curriculum.
• Strong understanding of IPYP English and the ability to teach language in an engaging and accessible manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for language arts and fostering creativity in young learners.
