Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager Biofertilizer

Location: Baner, Pune

Experience: Minimum 5 years in biofertilizer sales (experience with successful startups preferred)

Job Overview:

Greencraft Labs Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in biofertilizer sales to lead our sales team and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of proven sales experience in the biofertilizer industry, preferably with a successful startup background, and a track record in building and managing dealer networks. This role demands a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth while nurturing and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training sessions to ensure team success.
  • Market Expansion & Dealer Network Development:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities and dealer partnerships in the biofertilizer market.
    • Build and maintain a robust dealer network to ensure widespread product distribution.
    • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new markets and increase revenue.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and stay ahead in the market.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to support promotional initiatives and product launches.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Address client queries and issues promptly, providing solutions that foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track and analyze sales metrics, preparing detailed reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and achieve sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in biofertilizer sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in successful startup environments.
    • Proven track record in managing and leading sales teams.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and expanding dealer networks within the agricultural or related sectors.
  • Technical & Soft Skills:
    • Deep understanding of the biofertilizer market and sustainable agricultural practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
