Job Overview:

Greencraft Labs Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and proactive Microbiologist with expertise in both biofertilizer manufacturing and production management. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in microbiological processes, biofertilizer production, and production oversight. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality production, process optimization, and adherence to regulatory standards while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Development & Optimization:
• Develop, monitor, and optimize fermentation and other microbiological processes related to biofertilizer manufacturing.
• Scale up laboratory processes to full-scale production, ensuring consistent product quality and process efficiency.
• Production Management:
• Oversee day-to-day production operations for biofertilizer manufacturing.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule, execute, and monitor production runs while ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
• Quality Control & Assurance:
• Conduct routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Analyze and interpret quality data to ensure that the biofertilizer meets regulatory standards and quality specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to refine quality control protocols.
• Research & Development:
• Engage in research initiatives aimed at enhancing product efficacy and developing new biofertilizer formulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in microbiology and production management.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain detailed records of experiments, production processes, and quality control measures.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Team Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to production staff on microbiological procedures and production best practices.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in microbiology, with specific experience in biofertilizer manufacturing and production management.
• Proven track record in managing production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of microbial fermentation, culture techniques, and biofertilizer production processes.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory and production equipment, along with data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with quality control protocols, regulatory standards, and production process optimization.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive production improvements.
