Bid Manager/ Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Research and evaluate bid opportunities on GEM and similar platforms to identify viable projects.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring all client specifications and compliance requirements are met.
• Manage the company's presence on the GEM portal, ensuring accurate profile information and maintaining compliance with procurement policies.
• Knowledge of BIS and TEC certification standards as required.
• Collaborate with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs) to source and customize products according to bid specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of bid activities, including proposal submissions, certification statuses, and bid outcomes.
• Conduct competitor analysis to improve bidding strategies and strengthen market position.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support bid preparation, ensuring proposals align with business goals and regulatory standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 3 years of IT industry experience, with a solid understanding of IT services, solutions, and trends.
• Proven experience in bid management and proposal writing, with a track record of successful bid submissions in the IT sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality bid documents that are error-free and aligned with client requirements.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work across different departments and functions to gather relevant information.
• Proficiency in bid management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
