GRN Process Manager - Global

(Position Summary :

The GRN Process Manager Global Projects will lead and manage the end-to-end Goods Receipt Note (GRN) process for global projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This role requires a strong background in GRN workflows, ERP systems (SAP), and leadership capabilities to oversee a centralized team supporting diverse, large-scale projects worldwide. The ideal candidate will excel in process optimization, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering high-quality results.

Role & responsibilities

Oversee the GRN process for all global projects, ensuring timely and accurate recording of goods and services received.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project-specific GRN requirements, aligning with procurement and project controls.
• Manage and resolve discrepancies between POs, invoices, and goods received promptly.
• Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of GRN operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial standards, and global regulations related to GRN and procurement processes.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for GRN workflows.
• Lead and mentor a centralized GRN team, ensuring high performance and adherence to global standards.
• Collaborate with regional and project-specific teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to address GRN-related challenges.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the GRN team.
• Generate and analyze GRN-related reports, including backlog tracking, discrepancy resolution, and performance metrics.
• Provide insights to management on trends, risks, and opportunities in GRN processing.
• Support financial and project reporting by ensuring accurate and up-to-date GRN data.
• Act as the primary point of contact for GRN-related queries from global stakeholders, including project teams and vendors.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure seamless integration of GRN data into invoicing, payments, and project cost tracking.
• Support procurement teams by providing timely and accurate GRN updates to facilitate project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in GRN processing, procurement, or supply chain roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial position.
• Proven experience with SAP (MM, PS modules) or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in the EPCM industry or managing GRN for global, large-scale projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth understanding of GRN processes and their integration with procurement and finance functions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with global, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
• Experience in SAP MM Module
• Knowledge & experience in SAP Project Systems & FICO module
• Data management & Analysis tool
• Excellent MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
