Lead Electrical Engineer (System Integration)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Global Engineering Center. In this role, you will be responsible for executing International and Local Projects in India, with a strong focus on Water Treatment Plants and their associated systems. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals of relevant experience, ideally in an EPC environment or with exposure to international projects.

Knowledge of WTP/WWTP/STP/ETP/Desal Electrical system requirements Like

• Provide technical expertise and leadership in all electrical engineering aspects of the project
• Lead the electrical design and engineering team to ensure project deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Conduct technical reviews, analysis, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Develop and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and support staff.
• Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and plans to meet project objectives.
• Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all electrical engineering activities.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address electrical engineering requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments to provide input on electrical engineering matters.
• Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, evaluating bids, and selecting electrical equipment and materials.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules related to electrical engineering scope.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
• Preparation of Electrical deliverables like Single Line Diagram, layout drawings, data sheets and specification.
• Knowledge of power systems load modeling and analysis
• Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing, and cable sizing.
• Understanding of mechanical and process engineering discipline drawings and system calculations, as related to electrical design requirements.
• Electrical Equipment Sizing like Transformer/cable/earthing/lighting and lighting.
• Preparation of equipment/cable routing / lighting/ earthing and lighting.
• Preparation of Erection documents
• Site support and visit-based project needs.
• Carry out the FAT for various electrical items.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Required:
  
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. EEE)

Experience:

• Required:
  
• Proven experience in Electrical Design and Detail Engineering
• Experience in project controls, including scheduling, estimating engineering efforts, and work packaging
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering design principles
• Proficient in industry and regulatory codes and standards
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred:
• Experience with instrumentation knowledge in addition to electrical design (i.e., working knowledge of instrumentation systems in water and wastewater treatment plants).

Technical Skills:

• Required:
• Strong knowledge of E&I systems for WTP, STP, WWTP, ETP
• Preferred:
• Exposure to instrumentation knowledge related to water treatment projects, including but not limited to pumps, control panels, and automation systems.
