Shift Engineer - Operations and Maintenance

• The Shift Engineer Leads O&M team of Operators, Technicians, Coordinators.
• Responsible for efficient and safe operation & maintenance of our Biogas Production Plant, Meet production targets and quality standards during their assigned shift.
• Ensure stated operational & performance KPIs.
• Provide regular reports to the Manager - O&M.

• Monitor and supervise Plant Operations of Biogas Plant during the assigned shift to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with operating procedures.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly, taking corrective action as needed to minimize downtime.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technicians and operators, ensuring job completions safely and efficiently. Stabilize routine O&M jobs.
• Maintenance: Oversee maintenance activities, including equipment inspections to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for People, Plant and environment.

Conduct routine trainings and toolbox talks as necessary.

• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of Product, feed and all streams, making necessary corrective actions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during the shift.

Prepare procedures, T&A plans and miscellaneous reports.

• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or unexpected operational issues, coordinating with the appropriate personnel and authorities as needed.
• Communication: Provide regular shift reports to Plant Manager and collaborate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition of operations.
• Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and propose solutions to reduce energy consumption.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of CBG, CGD, Oil & Gas or similar operating process plants as a panel operator.
• Knowledge of DCS panel operations, CBG production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of operation of various type of pumps, compressors, solid handling equipment such as conveyors, trommels etc.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and make quick, informed decisions during emergencies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to biogas production.

• Knowledge of MS Office and basic computer knowledge, May have used O&M software.
• Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances.
• Proficient in adapting to use of software tools.
