Executive/ Senior Executive - Accounts

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Entry Level Accountants to join our site project teams and support our agro-residue to CBG projects across various locations in India. These individuals will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, handling vendor invoices, assisting with client billing, and providing
administrative support to ensure smooth accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, entry-level, and junior professionals looking to gain valuable experience in accounting and finance within a dynamic and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make accounting entries in the provided system, ensuring accuracy and
  completeness of financial records.
• Handle vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and process payment requests in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to account keeping and financial records maintenance, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Support client billing activities by preparing invoices for submission, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Planning & Billing Managers/Engineers to gather relevant project data and prepare accurate and timely invoices for client submission.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, address inquiries, and ensure smooth invoice processing.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to established controls and protocols to safeguard company assets.
• Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed, including assisting with month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or related field.
  1-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, internship experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, experience with Tally Accounting Software is a plus.
  Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
  collaboratively in a team environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new tasks quickly.
• Willingness to travel and work at various project sites as needed.
