The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong command of taxation, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will involve maintaining books of accounts, taxation compliance, financial analysis, and coordination for audits. The ideal candidate will have a keen analytical mindset, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions efficiently. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Managing Director and will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping & Financial Statements:
• Maintain and update books of accounts with accuracy.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Financial Ratios.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements for internal and external use.

• Taxation & Compliance:
• Deep knowledge of TDS, GST, Income Tax & Depreciation.
• File TDS, GST, and Income Tax Returns in compliance with legal deadlines.
• Prepare working notes for audit reports and assist in statutory audits.

• Import & Export Transactions:
• Manage and process import & export transactions efficiently.
• Audit & Bank Coordination:
• Assist in bank loan procedures and maintain financial documentation.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure audit requirements are met.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Accounting & Compliance: Strong command over accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Advanced Excel & ERP Systems: Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Oracle ERP, and liaising with tax authorities
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify financial issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams, auditors, and banking institutions.
• Compliance & Taxation: Up-to-date knowledge of latest tax policies, compliance regulations, and financial reporting standards.

What Makes You Our Perfect Match?

Experience:

• Inter-CA / MBA Finance with 3-4 years of experience, OR
• B.Com / M.Com with 4+ years of experience.
• Must have worked in a manufacturing company.

Technical Proficiency:

• Oracle ERP / Tally ERP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
