Senior HR Generalist - Job Summary
Responsible for HR Operations, and taking part in effective management of employee life cycle in the organisation, including day to day HR operational activities and broadly covers pre-onboarding, onboarding, effective adherence to HR policies and procedures and implementation, ,employee engagement, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, , employee services and separation management as the primary role and supporting payroll , compensation and benefits management, labour relations and statutory compliances as a secondary role.
Develop and/or maintain HR programs and policies and procedures , employee handbook and employment contracts compliant with local employment legislation and regulations
Design and implement best practices in new employee on-boarding procedures as required
Ensure that HR processes, records, systems and communication are efficient and effective, inclusive of all relevant information, with necessary approvals
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Managers and Team Leads and work closely with HR regional team in developing a HR roadmap as per employee engagement conversations
Establishes strong and effective working relationship with internal/external customers to promote and support positive employee relation, Company culture and employee engagement efforts, supporting the business objectives and continually improves the value of HR s contribution to the business through strong partnerships with key stakeholders
Support in the implementation and execution of global HR initiatives at local country context
Support internal payroll team with timely inputs for liasioning with payroll service providers and ensure smooth and timely payroll processing
Maintains human resource information system records and perform regular compilation and analysis and presents MIS reports effectively
Assists with regulatory HR audits as required, as well as various special projects assigned on a need basis
Day to Day HR Operational Role includes:
Maintains employee data in the Company Human Capital Management system, prepares appropriate documentation, and processes necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Processes employee information changes in HCM application.
Audits employee documents, files, and system database related information to ensure accurate and complete employee records are maintained.
Monitors the HR Help Desk and responds to employee questions and queries about various HR related programs, company policies, and employee benefit programs.
Responsible for conducting pre-employment background checks and coordination with vendors
Responsible for ensuring timely audit and monitoring of time office reports and absence management through HCM system
Assists with processing of new hires (joiners) and employee separations (leavers) and provide support in effective coordination and implementation of employee life cycle management processes (on-boarding till exit), as required
Assist business team and reporting managers with timely guidance on employee matters like, time office, performance, probation confirmation, exit processes, employment contracts, policies and procedures
Collaborates with other departments including operations, payroll , purchasing, accounting and finance , IT, facility, shared services team and global and regional team to ensure accurate and timely coordination and completion of pre-defined processes.

Skills and Experience
Minimum 6-7 years experience in HR function with maximum years of exposure as a HR Generalist
Strong Exposure and Knowledge of HR statutes/labour laws, policy framework and HR generalist role
Exposure in working with an HRIS/ERP system is an added advantage
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, presentation skills, negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and work under specific timelines/deadlines
Ability to self-start, find solutions and deliver results within strict deadlines
Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressured environment
Extreme attention to detail and ability to produce zero-defect work
Strong relationship management skills, organizational skills, coordination skills and ability to work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally.
Educational qualification
Graduation with post graduate management degree/diploma in HR preferred
