JOB RESPONSIBILIES-QUALITY HEAD
Planning and organizing quality related activities for Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Improvement through out the plant.
Quality Management System documentation which involves preparation of Quality Assurance Manual & Quality System Procedures.
Thorough knowledge of Establishing , implementing and monitoring QMS system as per IATF 16949 requirements
Document and data control within the organization which involves maintaining original documents, issue of controlled copies, making old
documents obsolete and issue of revised documents
Analysis of all inspection and test reports and take up improvements measures whenever results are found unsatisfactory.
Keep and maintenance of samples , standards and customer supplied items.
Identification of training needs and training of personnel as per requirements of QMS, on quality improvement , on managerial techniques of
problem solving and on work plan upgradation.
Performing all activities, upkeep and updating of data and records related to PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan , SQC and MSA as requirements
of IATF 16949 and other CSRs.
Application of SQC and SPC techniques and carrying out process capability studies.
On going process capability analysis of special characteristics.
Proper maintenance and verification of all inspection, measuring & testing instruments, gauges and fixtures.
Calibration of checking, measuring and monitoring instruments, gauges and fixtures and performing MSA to do necessary corrections and
reveal scope of further improvements.
Preparing QMS performance report for MRM , ensure timely conduction of MRM and maintain records of minutes of meetings.
Ensure control of nonconforming products as per laid down procedures.
Ascertaining corrective and preventive actions to control all types of nonconformities and ensure effective implementation of these actions to
prevent recurrence of quality problems
Handling customer complaints and field failure claims.
Planning , organizing & conduction of internal audit of QMS as per decided frequency
Conduction of Product, process and dock audit as per audit schedule to ensure adherence to control plan and work instructions.
Conduction of QMS audit at supplier end and taking initiatives to improve quality performance of suppliers.
Establish proper metod of initial part control (IPC) and initial flow control ( IFC ) Establishing 4M change control mechanisms and intimating customers about such changes.
Making and updating abnormality handling procedures and work instructions Participation and coordinating with auditors during customer and other third party audit
Follow up for closure of NCs found during internal and external audits in stipulated time frame
Disposition decision of hold and rejected material and giving deviation permits. Deciding upon PY ( Poke Yoke ) for mistake proofing during manufacturing.
All sorts of revalidation activities in-house and at the customer end.
Assessment of cost of quality (COQ) on a monthly basis and preparing action plan to reduce cost of poor quality( COPQ ).
Preparing relevant documents for visual control Maintaining all records related to established QMS. Adoption of Good Manufacturing Processes ( GMP ) . Coordinate continual improvement programme.
Decide on necessary corrective and preventive actions to be taken to prevent recurrence of internal & external defects.
Conduction of layout inspection as per plan Conduction Product audit and Process auditas per plan
