About the role

The incumbent is required to execute business development projects, Sourcing for cross country requirement, Inventory control, Planning & forecasting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives, Quality & cost optimization projects, and ensure the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

Cost & Inventory Management:

• Monitor monthly inventory & ensure no ageing beyond acceptable limit, Collaborate with the business team to facilitate liquidation and reduce excess stock generation.
• Assist in preparing detailed reports on inventory status, highlighting potential risks & areas for improvement.

Sourcing & Vendor Management:

• Support material sourcing and vendor qualification processes, including exploring alternative suppliers for Cost & quality improvement initiatives.
• Vendor management for supply and planning, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Assist with mold development activities, from start to commercialization.

Forecasting & Business Development:

• Collaborate with IT and BD teams to develop and refine forecasting models, ensuring greater accuracy in predicting demand and aligning production schedules accordingly.

Project Management:

• Lead the introduction and execution of product extensions projects for GI countries, ensuring alignment with local market needs.
• Oversee product restructuring and development efforts to meet the specific requirements of GI countries.
• Project execution, ensuring timelines,quality & cost
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track progress, monitor costs, and ensure project goals are successfully achieved.

Who are we looking for?

Education

• A degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field is highly preferred

Experience

• 35 years of relevant experience
• Work closely with Sales, R&D, Sourcing, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams.
• Engage with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely sourcing of materials and adherence to quality standards.

Skills

• Exposure to Project Management, Manufacturing & Sourcing particularly in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of operations, Sourcing, and material management. Understanding of mold development activities, Packaging and the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Supply chain knowledge, including the ability to manage end-to-end processes from sourcing to product delivery.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and project management,
• Strong communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset to track costs, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights through reporting
