About the function
The Corporate Administration and Travel function is crucial in managing and optimising all aspects of corporate travel and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE). It involves negotiating contracts, overseeing service providers and implementing efficient travel solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations. This function also handles expense management, travel safety and technology enhancements to streamline operations.
About the role
As the Medical Administrator within the Corporate Health and Wellness team, you will play a key role in managing and delivering comprehensive healthcare services and wellness initiatives across the organisation. Your focus will be on providing high-quality medical care, promoting employee well-being, and ensuring operational excellence. You will lead strategic planning and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic health and wellness planning
- Develop and execute health and wellness strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Drive initiatives that focus on preventive healthcare, mental well-being and lifestyle management to support overall employee health
2. Medical facility and infrastructure management
- Oversee the operation and logistics of in-house medical facilities, ensuring they are well-equipped and staffed
- Manage the procurement and inventory of medical supplies, equipment and linens
- Ensure cleanliness, safety and regulatory compliance of all medical facilities
- Update and manage agreements with service providers and hospitals
3. Healthcare services coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams and external healthcare providers, including hospitals, diagnostic centres and specialists
- Manage on-site medical services, including first aid, emergency care and occupational health services
- Maintain a robust system for managing employee medical records
4. Employee Wellness Programs
- Organise health check-ups, vaccination drives and wellness awareness campaigns.
- Launch mental health programs, including stress management workshops, counselling services and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Design wellness initiatives such as fitness challenges, yoga sessions and lifestyle coaching
5. Emergency and crisis management
- Develop and maintain an effective emergency medical response plan
- Provide training to employees and first responders on CPR, first aid and evacuation procedures
6. Regulatory compliance
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, medical leave policies and disability accommodations
- Maintain thorough documentation for audits and inspections by health authorities
- Stay informed about changes in health laws and provide advisory to the organisation
7. Stakeholder engagement
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare vendors to provide assistance to employees and ensure seamless delivery of health services.
8. Data analysis and reporting
- Track and analyse employee health data to measure program effectiveness and identify trends
- Prepare detailed reports on health outcomes, program participation and cost efficiency
- Use data insights to continuously improve health and wellness strategies
9. Training and awareness
- Lead training sessions for employees and managers on ergonomics, stress management and healthy living
- Raise awareness about available health and wellness programs and encourage employee participation
- Train medical and non-medical staff on organisational health protocols and emergency procedures
10. Budget management
- Develop and manage budgets for health and wellness programs
- Optimise resources to deliver cost-effective healthcare solutions
- Monitor expenses and provide cost justification to leadership
