Floor Manager - Medical Administration & Clinical Operations

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure Patient care by managing routine Operations:

A) Admission process is seamless and patient is made aware of next steps

B) Doctors round, patient movements, medication process, sample collection, any procedural requirement (radiology, ECHO etc.) are appropriately taken care of

C) Look into F&B, dietary, physiotherapy or any other service requirements are met

D) Patient discharge, final billing process, co-ordination with TPA desk, discharge summary etc are well managed

E) Address patient/attendant queries, provide information as per protocols

F) Checking completeness of all medical records

G) Effectively engage multi-teams; Floor doctors, Clinical Pharmacists, Medical Transcriptionists, Nursing, ward secretaries, security, Housekeeping & GDAs

H) Look into any training & development requirement of any staff on floors

• Ensure all activities are on Hospital Information System
• Ensures discipline of staff in Wards/ Floors
• Checks Noise levels
• Ensures Availability of Doctor
• Ensures prompt Response to nursing calls
• Monitors Staff behavior and attitude
• Checking completeness of Medical Record File
• Feedback to chairman/ HOD on compliance to quality standards, Medical Record audit and significant incidences.
• Analyzes & streamlines the process in wards for e.g. attendant passes and suggest reform.
• Gives Daily report of the floor to appropriate authority
• Feedback evaluation and suggestions for improvement
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification required - BDS/ BAMS + MHA/MBA ( Hospital & Healthcare)
• Experience - 2+ Years
