DevOps Engineer

Goavega is looking for a motivated and skilled engineer who will be responsible for diagnosing, triaging, and resolving technical issues in systems and applications. The role includes maintaining system performance, ensuring security compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in infrastructure and applications. Proficiency in Linux/Unix, AWS, and DevOps practices is essential, with Golang as an optional skill.

• Technical Support: Provide support for triaging issues , perform root cause analysis, escalating bugs to software developers and making sure that SLAs are met
• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and applications to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, and other engineering teams to identify and resolve system bottlenecks and improve overall system architecture.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Monitoring and Alerts: Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure early detection of issues and efficient alerting mechanisms.
