Key Responsibilities:
Rate Sourcing and Negotiation:
Collaborate with shipping lines, airlines, and other service providers to obtain competitive rates.
Negotiate freight rates and other charges to enhance profitability.
Quotation Management:
Prepare and provide accurate freight quotes to clients within specified timeframes.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, transit times, and logistics solutions.
Market Analysis:
Monitor and analyze market trends, including competitor pricing, fuel surcharges, and seasonal fluctuations.
Provide regular updates to the sales and operations teams on market conditions.
Coordination and Communication:
Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with overseas agents and partners to confirm rates and services.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of quotes, contracts, and correspondence with clients and vendors.
Generate and present pricing reports to management as required.
Cost Optimization:
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Requirements Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other pricing tools.
Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including ocean, air, and land transport.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
