Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Automation Specialist with expertise in Infrastructure Automation, Scripting, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing automation solutions that streamline IT operations and enhance infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Automation

• Develop and implement automation workflows to optimize IT operations.
• Identify manual processes and convert them into automated solutions.
• Maintain and update existing automation tools and scripts to improve efficiency.

1. Infrastructure Automation

• Design and manage automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, performance, and reliability through automation practices.
• Monitor automated infrastructure for potential issues and implement corrective actions.

1. Scripting

• Develop scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks.
• Write and maintain custom scripts for monitoring, deployment, and system management.
• Troubleshoot and optimize scripts to enhance performance and reliability.

1. DevOps Practices

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate automation into the DevOps lifecycle to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
• Implement and monitor containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

1. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting

• Set up automated monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues in infrastructure and automation workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 7+ years in IT Automation, Infrastructure Automation, and DevOps practices.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills to resolve complex IT challenges.
• Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in automation or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards.
