Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with over 7 years of experience in Network Security, Firewall Configuration, VPN, and Network Monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure, protecting sensitive data, and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Security
• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address security gaps.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, protocols, and regulations.
• Firewall Configuration
• Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls to safeguard network boundaries.
• Create and manage firewall rules, policies, and access controls.
• Perform regular audits to ensure optimal firewall performance and security.
• VPN Management
• Set up and manage secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections for remote access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot VPN issues to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
• Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and encryption for VPN security.
• Network Monitoring
• Deploy and manage network monitoring tools to detect anomalies and unauthorized activities.
• Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Generate detailed reports on network performance, threats, and incident responses.
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting
• Investigate and respond to network security breaches and alerts.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve network-related issues effectively.
• Document incidents, solutions, and lessons learned to improve future responses.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 7+ years in Network Security, Firewall Configuration, VPN, and Network Monitoring.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
• Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, etc.).
• Expertise in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and practices (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, encryption).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or CEH.
• Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Knowledge of cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
