Job Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Architect with 3+ years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design scalable solutions, integrate systems, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Architecture:
• Design and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions tailored to client business needs.
• Architect frameworks for Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management to ensure robust IT operations.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and ITIL standards.
2. Implementation and Customization:
• Configure and deploy ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Orchestration, and Event Management.
• Develop automation workflows to enhance IT operations efficiency.
• Optimize platform configurations and ensure system reliability and scalability.
3. Integration and Automation:
• Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party tools such as monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace) and cloud platforms.
• Automate IT processes using ServiceNow Orchestration and Integration Hub.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security during system integrations.
4. Monitoring and Performance Management:
• Implement and optimize Event Management for proactive IT issue detection and resolution.
• Define and configure alerts, thresholds, and escalation rules to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct platform health checks and performance tuning to maintain system stability.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Documentation:
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver ITOM solutions.
• Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and user guides.
• Conduct training sessions to support end-user adoption and effective platform usage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Powershell, Python) for workflow automation and integrations.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools like Integration Hub.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITOM or related modules.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a hybrid work environment.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
