Manager - Security Operations & Vigilance

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure identification of adequate security equipment, procurement, commissioning and its serviceability by regular inspection / interaction with user departments and liaison with the vendors or service providers in order to keep IGIA safe & secure.

Ensure business continuity of airport operations by end to end processing of PVC (Police Verification Certificate) applications of all the members of the airport community for smooth conduct of airport operations.

Contribute and ensure effective implementation of software systems for Prepaid Taxi Counters, Fuel Indent Issue systems and Airport Entry Passes as per the guidelines and timely maintenance of such systems along with data updating so as to reduce risks and limit exposure to liability.

In this regard to liaise with various Govt. / Regulatory agencies like State Intelligence department, Intelligence Bureau, SB officials, State Police, Commissioner of Police, BCAS, local police and police officials of other states etc.

This role requires to contribute to the planning & execution of all S&C initiatives like ASQ drive, Security week, VIP movements etc.

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Ensure timely receipt of PVCs for the entire GNIAL airport community as well as GNIAL employees in coordination with Govt. / Regulatory agencies like State Intelligence department, Intelligence Bureau, SB officials, Nagpur Police Commissioner, Local/district Police and police officials of other states etc. Number / percentage compliance To collate and provide monthly report to BCAS on lost baggage and theft cases at GNIAL in coordination with local P. S. 100% compliance Liaise with all operational departments on day to day operational issues. 100% compliance to BCAS Guidelines and Company Policy

Follow up of the PVC applications of all the members of the 2, 000 strong airport community.

Follow up for obtaining police verification for all the concessionaries working in the security hold area from time to time numbering more than 50.

Maintenance and updatation of data of 170 prepaid cabs.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

1. 1. 1. Graduate in any discipline.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

1. 1. 1. Work Experience of 15+ years with State Police (ACP/Dy. SP) with excellent networking skills.
      2. Should possess good knowledge in software application development.
