Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities by actively prospecting and networking within the construction industry. Generate leads and convert them into sales.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our range of construction equipment, including backhoe loaders, excavators, skid steer loaders, and wheel loaders. Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients. Highlight the benefits and features of our equipment and address any questions or concerns.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with clients. Close sales deals and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive activities. Provide feedback and recommendations to the sales team and management.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and updates for management on sales progress and forecasts.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional post-sale support and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

Requisites:

  • 3-9 years of proven sales experience in the construction equipment industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction equipment such as backhoe loaders, excavators, skid steer loaders, and wheel loaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients at all levels.
  • Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of the technical aspects of construction equipment and the ability to explain technical features to clients.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
